I'm so happy to be able to share happy news!!!

Alex, thanks for the great compliment! I love that I can make someone laugh!!! And thanks for the reminder about pudendal neuralgia...I am planning a stop at a neurologist when/if I get my insurance stuff figured out. You can definitely add me as a resource -- I'll send you an e-mail just in case you don't read this...Estherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13231523634115523348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240355902210786734.post-18889283737878750022010-01-16T11:50:00.588-08:002010-01-16T11:50:00.588-08:00Hi Mad Peach,

(People act weird when the answer to their question of "What are you reading?" is "Vaginas."...who knew?)

But seriously, have you looked into pudendal neuralgia already? One of the symptoms for that is feeling like you have a foreign body in your pelvis. It's a nerve thing so it has all sorts of weird connections (perhaps it could be part of that thing with the belly button?). This is really just a thought...

Also, I have recently started a website on Vulvar Vestibulitis and other vulvar pain disorders and I would like to include a "resources" page where I link to blogs that I think are helpful. Would it be alright with you if I included yours? The website is www.vulvarvestibulitisrelief.com if you'd like to go check it out. I am currently hard at work on a new version of that website (someone who actually knows how to develop is making the new on) and it should be up in a couple weeks.

PS: My email is vvrelief@gmail.com
PPS: Kudos on sending that from your iphone. I can barely log into gmail from my boyfriend's Android.

Thanks for your great blog!Alexhttp://www.vulvarvestibulitisrelief.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240355902210786734.post-43136132991571324152010-01-13T06:55:08.556-08:002010-01-13T06:55:08.556-08:00I get that abdominal pain sometimes too. On the rare occasion that I can use a vibrator to stimulate my clitoris for all of 30 seconds the residual pain is always located somewhere right below my diaphragm. Lora is right about the belly button thing. If I've learned anything from this struggle with vulvodynia it is about referred pain. Not only do I have pain in the vulva but in other random and odd places as well.

Congrats though!brieahnjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05123002155088134120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240355902210786734.post-38681984017675935102010-01-08T11:32:45.076-08:002010-01-08T11:32:45.076-08:00YAY! We all need that more than doctors, and PTs and drugs combined. You cannot get better without hope.Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11788208540404581979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240355902210786734.post-78885178218045240872010-01-08T06:37:36.068-08:002010-01-08T06:37:36.068-08:00hooray!
I'm so glad for you, and I know that ...hooray!

I'm so glad for you, and I know that weird "it hurts on entry and then it's okay" thing. that happens to me too.

Also, I get that weird gut pain too. I read somewhere (here?) that there is a link between something in/near your vagina and your belly button. If I push my belly button, my VVD will instantly flare, and sometimes vice versa. wtf?

So happy for you.Lorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11721629115039897949noreply@blogger.com
